Office to House Conversion

This job is a conversion from an accountants office to a house. First of all the accountants office was gutted. We then had to convert the safe / file room into the kitchen by cutting new doors and windows into the walls whilst closing up the windows to the front of the building for the installation of sash windows. The building had to be re wired and re plumbed. Because some of the concrete floor was crumbling it had to be replaced. The stairs was taken out of its original position and relocated to the middle of the house. A spine wall along the centre of the house was taken out and replaced with a beam to open up the sitting room. All external walls were dry lined with an insulated slab, attic space insulated and high efficiency oil boiler with heating controls upgrade installed for which the client avlailed of a Better Energy Homes grant. of the and Everything was brought back to scratch and re done including new electrical, plumbing, kitchen, windows, insulation etc. The house was skimmed throughout. The building was second fixed electrical, plumbing and carpentry along with kitchen supplied and fitted by Ryan Building Contractors and job was complete. This job was completed over a 13 week period from start to finish.

Our clients say...

Ryan Building Contractors undertook a renovation project for me in early 2015. The work that they carried out was of a very high standard and was completed within the 3 months time frame they had given me. Not only was I impressed by the quality of their work but also the fact they offered me advice about changes throughout the build and were always obliging when I wanted to make changes. Since the building was completed I have had nothing but compliments from passers by on how wonderful has been from what was an office building to a family home. This is testament to the professionalism of Ryan Building Contractors and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone to complete a high quality, professional and reliable building project.
